What research is conducted in the department?

UT PGE is perhaps most famous for reservoir engineering, but its projects span every major research area within petroleum engineering.  Major research areas include Drilling, Environmental Engineering, Fundamental Processes, Integrated Reservoir Characterization, Nanoparticle Engineering, Natural Gas, Production, and Reservoir Engineering.

Students have the opportunity to work as Research Assistants and Summer Research Interns.
